This course supplies the information needed to understand diving physiology, advanced diving medicine, differential diagnosis and the treatment of DCIs along with other hyperbaric oxygen therapies.
40 Classroom hrs: Designed for hyperbaric physicians and EMTs. It is NOT limited to those professionals. Hyperbaric Medical Technicians, EMT, EMS Personnel, Paramedics, Rescue Personnel, Chamber Operators, Respiratory Therapists, Nurses, Diver Supervisors, and Divers will GREATLY benefit from this course! |
Your level of certification is contingent upon your existing medical qualifications. (EMT -> DMT, Physician -> DMP, all others are qualified Chamber Operator)

Chamber Operator
Included within the scope of the course is a familiarization with the operation and maintenance requirements for a variety of Hyperbaric Recompression chambers. It also teaches Emergency Procedures (EPs) required in the event of fire, loss of O2, loss of depth, and increase in depth.
